Compass Pattern Navigation
Navigate precise reciprocal lines, squares, and triangle patterns with exact heading tracking.

Underwater Navigation Specialty
Master the art of finding your way underwater. Learn compass navigation, natural landmark mapping, kick-cycle distance estimation, and how to always return effortlessly to your exit point.
OVERVIEW
Underwater navigation is the superpower that transforms any diver into a confident leader and explorer. When you understand natural topography, light angles, and precise compass heading calculations, you eliminate disorientation and underwater anxiety.
In Eilat's diverse underwater terrain (coral canyons, reef drop-offs, and sandy flats), you conduct 3 practical training dives. You learn to measure distance using kick cycles and elapsed time, navigate straight-line, square, and triangle patterns, and map underwater sites.
You master combining natural navigation clues (sun angle, depth contours, ripple patterns, reef structures) with precision compass tracking. The PADI Underwater Navigator certification is globally recognized and counts toward the Master Scuba Diver rating.

Divers who want to navigate dive sites confidently and always return directly to the boat or entry point.
