OVERVIEW
Assistant Instructor training focuses on presenting dive theory, demonstrating skills, and supervising students under instructor direction.
As an Assistant Instructor (AI), you learn the PADI teaching system, classroom and confined water presentation techniques, and student control strategies.
Upon certification, you can independently conduct classroom presentations, evaluate surface skills, teach select specialty programs, and move smoothly toward Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI).

COURSE STAGES

PREREQUISITES

At least 18 years old. Certified diver for at least 6 months with 60+ logged dives.
Current EFR Primary & Secondary Care (within 24 months) and physician medical approval (within 12 months).
