The 1-Star Diver course (internationally certified as PADI Open Water Diver) is the primary gateway to scuba diving in Israel.
In Israel, this foundational course is universally known as the 1-Star Diver certification. It qualifies you to dive autonomously with a certified buddy down to 18-20 meters at any dive center in the world.
Your instructor guides you calmly through e-Learning theory, shallow water skill practice, and 4 guided open water ocean dives in the coral reefs of Eilat in small groups.

Basic Swimming
Ability to swim 200 meters continuously and float/tread water for 10 minutes without aids.
Medical Clearance
Fill out a standard PADI RSTC medical questionnaire before diving practice.
