SPECIALTY OVERVIEW
A Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) opens up an entirely new way to explore the underwater world. It allows you to cover much greater distances, conserve energy and air, and reach remote reef sections unreachable during standard shore dives.
At FunDive Eilat, we use modern, compact, lightweight, and powerful scooters that are simple and intuitive to operate. Under direct instructor supervision in a 1:1 or small-group setting, you will master speed control, maneuvering, maintaining trim while moving, and essential safety protocols.
The course includes two comprehensive training dives tailored to Eilat's finest reef sites. Earning your international PADI DPV certification is a long-term investment in your diving journey: it qualifies you to rent scooters worldwide and participate in DPV guided tours globally.
