A calm, structured return to diving
The Scuba Refresher helps certified divers rebuild confidence and underwater comfort at their own pace.
We offer two options: Standard Refresher (1.5–2 hours, for break > 6 months) and Extended Refresher (up to 4 hours, for break > 5 years or for extra practice with a second dive).
Both formats cover theory review, equipment assembly, 7 core skill exercises, and a guided dive with your instructor. Rebuild your buoyancy and underwater confidence safely.

Diver certification
Open Water Diver certification or higher from a recognized agency.

Coverage can be requested for the refresher and is included only when availability, deliverables and price are confirmed separately.

Refresher questions
Is it an exam?
No. It is a supportive guided review. Your instructor repeats and adapts exercises until you feel 100% comfortable.
Is a refresher required after a 6-month break?
Yes. According to Israeli diving regulations and PADI standards, certified divers who haven't logged a dive in over 6 months must complete a refresher before joining open water guided dives.
Which option fits a long gap?
If you haven't dived for over 5 years, or feel particularly rusty, we recommend our Extended Refresher, which includes 2 full dives and extra buoyancy practice time.
Is diving insurance required?
Yes, active diving insurance is required by law. If you don't have active coverage, we can help you set up instant daily or annual dive insurance on site.
