A guide assistant course is a great step up the professional diving ladder. Most people spend an average of 6 to 8 hours a day at work. A Guide Assistant Certificate opens up an opportunity for you to combine work with a hobby to spend time in nature, go on adventures, and every day make someone else happy
As part of the course you will learn Paddy's method of education, you will learn to use a guidebook of instructors, you will develop skills, you will work as an assistant instructor and you will also be able to train trainees at a limited level.
After a successful completion, you will be able to get a job at any diving club in Israel and around the world, and you will be authorized to submit programs such as: introductory diving, refresher, guided diving. You will also deliver lectures, and demonstrate exercises in closed water in the presence of an instructor, as well as conduct specialization courses under the supervision of an instructor. This course will give you everything you need to successfully continue your path to a guide certificate
The course consists of: a theoretical part, Paddy's teaching method, learning to work with the instructors' booklet, self-study, lectures and presentations. Practical part, demonstration of all underwater skills, learning and assimilation of all permitted programs, practical assistance to the instructor during courses, tests
To be accepted to the course, you must: be a Dave Master certified by any diving organization, reach the age of 18, dive recorded in a 60 dive log, be an open and certified water diver for at least 6 months, present consent as a first aid provider / resuscitation refresher from last two years, present a doctor's certificate Valid dive from last year
Course duration 5 days
Please note that any attempt to avoid complete disclosure of any fact concerning your health will remove from us any liability for any damage that may be caused to you as a result of the dive, and the cancellation of any complaint, and / or claim of any kind.
Medical statement:
I have no history of: breathing problems, heart problems, diabetes, sinus problems, ear infections, asthma, recent surgeries or diseases, claustrophobia, drug use, or any other limitation. I'm not pregnant.
I know you are not allowed to fly 4 hours after the introductory dive.
Refund is possible only before receiving a briefing and heading towards the water. Upon receipt of a briefing, the service becomes non-refundable. We ask for your consent to post your photos on social media, tick yes in the box of the post if you approve.
